It's the kind of look that says "I'll take you on if you don't see the sense of what I'm trying to tell you." The "I know better than you" look. And if I've got that look down, it also means "Mom, as time goes by, you'll see the error of your ways cause I'll always be there to teach you; you don't mind if I take over now, do you?". Of course, I could be wrong about that look , but be ready just in case.
