Thanks Julies, good idea I have already hand fed to let him know, but pulling rations and hand feeding a little more could work. He is the sweet pushy type too. I dont have agility stuff yet, but set up some things similar, and did for first time today and he seems to love it, so may train in fly ball.
Just an update on this crazy lil doggie,,,he ended up on meds, and is MUCH much better. I have done behaviour training around men, and he seems less anxious than he was. It has taken almost an year,,,and he is much better than he was, but still will take more time, and may never overcome everything.
I did back meds up and with the help of new vet, he is back on twice a day,,,,you cannot stand him, if he is not on meds. If for any reason I am late or forget to give meds, you can tell, he runs around growling at all the other dogs and is really dominate acting.
I have not allowed dominant behaviour with me to continue, but he is HARD dog,,,he barely even noticed a correction with prong collar. But many many months later,,,he is better.
Thanks to EVERYONE on the great training tips. I did them all, and he is better for it

I'm not a big fan of calmative meds, but you worked with this last-resort dog on a long road of multiple placements, and you succeeded, and I have to say congratulations to you.
