I didn't see where anyone had addressed this particular issue, but I only skimmed, so please forgive me if the following is redundant:

Unfortunately there are Malinois breeders in the USA who only are interested in showing their dogs. They do not title or train in any grip sport, in fact I have seen them brag about this on their websites. Others will tell you their showline Malinois are capable of competing at a National level dog show one day and will tear up the competition in any number of grip sports the next day. How do they know since they have no knowledge of any of the grip sports and their dogs have never been tested? THEY DON'T. They are breeding bigger, fluffier, softer dogs because that's what wins in the AKC show ring and it is an ABOMINATION.

I would hope that anyone considering a Malinois would NEVER give these unconscionable rat bastid AKC Malinois showline breeders any business. If a Malinois with correct temperament and drives is too much for someone then the Malinois is not the right dog for them and they need to consider a different breed, not a lesser "poser" Malinois.
