Michael, LMAO. I think he'll be all right. If he's not that tough, he's got a few puppies that would probably stick up for him.
Lisa- Seriously??? Sue??? You're joking and I'm just too groggy to get it, right? RE: pics. Thanks. I take bunches all the time. He's just learning to smile and really getting good at it this week.
Jim, lol. That's funny. How could a child complain about you?;-) I'm sure mine will never complain about me. Unless maybe I start wearing really skimpy clothes when his friends come over.
Yes, a boy named Sue. Spelled just like that. I teach in Minnesota and he was from a Hmong family. I think that is a common name for boys in that culture. He was/is a great kid...........
What a beautiful baby! Congrats on your newest pack member. Don't you just love having a built in cleanup crew? One time my son spit up and my golden was licking it off the rug then he spit up again on the golden's head- along comes the lab to clean up the golden. It was a regular lick fest. Dogs are helpful with sponge bathing too Already at Schutzhund...I wonder what his first word will be?
Lisa, I figured he had to be from a different culture, or his parents were just cruel. Crueler than I am.
Michelle, I'm thinking packen is a pretty good first word. We'll see if he cooperates.
Lynne, yes, Simon adores him. He looks grumpy in some pics b/c he despises the camera; it has nothing to do with the baby. The other day James was leaving w/his dad and Simon jumped into the truck and flat out refused to get out. If James was going, he was going. I actually had to climb in and carry him out. He HAS to greet him at every round he runs around the house, since I'm limiting him to one lick at a time. He thinks I haven't figured this out. If he leaves the room and comes back, he has to greet James again. He's a baby licker extraordinaire.
