I haven't said anything, but in addition to this whole thing with Kaia, I have been sick with a bad cold/flu since last Friday.
Nothing like suffering these challenges to make you appreciate being healthy.

That's funny because I've had that same cold/flu thing - seems half the country does. Poor Kasey is getting so bored he's inventing games for himself (I haven't been up to walking for a few days). He stuffs his ball under the furniture and then tries to get it out, he tries to hide his ball in a towel so he can search for that - it's funny how he is trying to simulate what we do with him! I think he must be brilliant! Hope you feel better soon Joyce!
Geez Lori, sorry to hear you have the "crud" too.
I can't recall a time when I felt this bad. The body aches and the sore throat have been the worst, then now the head cold just started.
How cute that Kasey is doing these things on his own. I swear, I think they seem to know when you don't feel good and somehow seem to understand.
My other dog Kodi had a few days where he didn't get walked either so today I got him out for a good walk. Just as I walked in the door it started to pour down rain! We lucked out.
Oh no! Not you too Jennifer?
I hate chest colds, the coughing all the time, especially at night while you try to sleep is the worst!
I hope you get well soon as well!
It is yucky, I had it about two weeks ago, got better for a few days and now it is back. It's all in my chest this time around which is never fun.
Have you had it checked out? Your body might be having a hard time fighting what ever it is if it started to leave but came back... (I am NOT a medical professional!! LOL!) If you start coughing up yucky mess, go get it checked.

Mine got worse on the 8th day and turned into roaring sinus infection - I hate anitibiotics with a passion, but the doctor said this time I had no choice! He said this virus is taking 3 -4 weeks for a lot of people to get back to normal - including him! Rest as much as possible is the Rx.

A roaring sinus infection needs antibiotics... period. My son had one years ago which migrated into his eys sockets (periorbital celulitis)... NOT a nice situation. (His immune system WAS compromised so not the normal situation, however - sinus infections are not something to be ignored.)
It doesn't seem to have set in as infection yet, the fever is gone and I'm not hacking up a bunch of stuff so I am waiting.
We are going camping this weekend, which probably isn't the best idea, but at least I will relax.
