I'm with Howard on speaking of your boy often. He deserves to be remembered and talked about for his life and how it graced yours.

Betty, I'm so sorry that you had to make that final decision. It is always so very hard to do. It is our last gift to give..that peaceful journey to 'the bridge'. King will be waiting for you & Russ there.
Betty, I'm so very sorry for your loss. I've buried many dogs in my lifetime and it never gets easier. I feel sorry for the people that don't understand the relationship between a dog and it's human partners.
Betty, I am so sorry for your loss. Reading this thread brought back memories of losing my boy just over a year ago. Reading that you lost yours brought me to tears.
I hope you can find comfort in the fact that no matter what happened you were always doing what was the best possible thing for him, no matter how terrible it made you feel.
I hope the time comes soon when you can think about him and smile and laugh.
