You've gotten some really good advice from others here and Ambi did very similar stuff as a pup, yelling and jumping to get peoples attention even nipping at someone jacket once. The person I worked with would walk up to Ambi, and as soon as she started to jump up, bark, or nip at them would turn and walk away, I'd put Ambi into a sit and then they'd reapproach if Amber kept all four on the floor they'd pat her and give her a treat, first time we did it, it took 5 repeats for Amber to get it, then two, then none. Hardest thing was for me to not say anything or correct her-the correction was in the person walking away.
