Elizabeth, I just want to say it was the "firm correction" comment that prompted my reply, too. I didn't think that sounded like you, based on reading your posts over the last few years, so I'm glad you provided more detail.
I'm sure many of us have had the experience of typing something and having it not convey quite what we were trying to say. And when we're communicating via discussion board over the Internet, of course it's a lot different than having a face-to-face conversation where people can get immediate clarification of something they don't understand.
And I do know that many people think nothing of taking a pup away from it's mother at a very early age. The poor pup misses out on all the things it would learn from its dam and littermates during those formative weeks.
However it comes about, I'm hoping Marco will find the perfect home.
Elizabeth, ALL we have to go on is what you say. That is the only contact we have with you, and having no relationship to base your context in, people here are gonna take it like it sounds.
In the past, I have visited the website you have linked in your sig line and observed your posts, I sincerely believe you if you say you misspoke.
and would grasp the nearest humans leg with both paws and bite.
was out of the crate he was 100% of the time latched on to a leg
started chasing Quisquis and getting interested in other things.
Engagement AND prey drive...Jackpot! lol
This thread reminds me of Ed's descriptions of having his legs attacked any time he went into the pen with a litter of his working line puppies. In the old days we called 'em ankle biters.

To update those who have asked via PM if we have worked this out: Elizabeth has read our PMs with the offer of a good home, transportation, and a donation (several of us have come together to provide funds) to cover her expenses (plus additional, as a donation), so we're hoping for a response soon.
I'm sure it's just internet connection problems. No word back yet, anyway, but I'm sure there will be soon.
Elizabeth, glad you got someone like Duane to volunteer to take the puppy, I would pay to have a member of this board take one of my fosters- its the best case scenario when rescuing.
Yes that is true, I agree, but for the good of other fosters I, in a good mind can not do that.
There are two many strays I leave in their miserable existence already. The money is saved so that the next stray/s can have a better chance and be treated, fed, and given care.
