Pits are banned in most of Manitoba, including here.. Sad when they have breed bans..but it stops stupid people from owning them. Rotti's are banned here too.

Damned I wrote about banning certain races in Switzerland and how they realized that this brings nothing at all. It was here but meanwhile disappeared. How is this possible ???????????
I'll write it again, when I have more time. A bit in a hurry right now. Sorry!

Christina, I noticed your blank post, too. If I go to that one and click "Quote," the text of what you wrote shows up on my end. I don't know how or why it disappeared from your post. I tried to copy-and-paste it, but that didn't work, either. Maybe one of the mods who understands the glitches and anomalies of this board will be able to fix it for you.

I don't like bans, prefer they screen who biys what, but in Manitoba, especially Winnipeg we have gangs who would use those dogs if they could..they abuse rott's and shepherds there already, I prefer responsible ownership, research before you buy, but most see a puppy and say hey! Cute, I want it and don't realized the consequence until it's too late!

Thanks so much Candi!!! You not only helped me to find my text again but also to correct it. Crazy and embarrassing. I know I make a lot of mistakes, but that I was able to transform something in such an awful mess, I didn't know.
So, here again to solve the puzzle:
In Switzerland they banned lot of dog breeds. After some time they released this because it made things not a bit better at all , but worse
The result was that certain "people" created a "grey zone" as we call it. They mixed powerful dogs, selected them according to the desired potential. They held them in miserable, cruel conditions in order to frustrate the poor dogs so that they in dog fights were extremly aggressive monsters.
But this because of the greedy humans. They make a lot of money because of those awful bettings.
Some years later they didn't forbid those breeds any more, as it isn't in the least controlable. Nowadays every owner has to absolve a course how to train a dog. This under the supervision of one or more checked and very reputable trainers. This certainly helped some people to learn how to train and treat a dog.
Of course this alone doesn't eliminate the underground of those horror shapes, they will continue for certain, but if discovered they will themselves have to live quite e lot of years within a small and uncomfortable kennel.
I agree also fully with what you're writing, Becky. We really have to keep our eyes open before we are buying.

The reason your original post showed up blank was because one of your typos was a bracket.
Brackets, which are the two keys to the right of the P key, lower-case (curly brackets are the upper-case of those two keys) are used in code for this program, and can't be input in user posts.
Does it sound like I understand what I'm talking about? Because I only superficially do. lol
I do know that typing brackets renders your post invisible.
in fact, as far as I've seen in all these years, it's the only thing that makes a typed post show up invisible. So when I see an empty post, often a string of them as the poor poster tries it again and again, I know to search the post for brackets.
When you removed your typos, you removed the bracket. (More often, I hunt down the offending bracket and fix it for the poster.)
Another way this happens is when the poster selects text to quote it, but accidentally knocks off one of the quote brackets. That leaves a stray bracket, which does the same thing to the post.
Any time anyone has a typed post come up empty, just look for a stray bracket or send me a PM.

Thanks, Connie, for revealing me this secret. Very good to know.
Yes, back to the topic, What was it? Ah, grumbling on command.. Will have to go back and read it all again. Maybe I will find some similarity to my dogs and the have questions to this too.
Sorry for the interruption!

The grumbling has stopped Christina so has the leash biting, for now. The only problem I am having with her is the housebreaking. She goes nicely a few days, but than gets a mood and refuses to go potty outside, so we have to move back to pottying on leash. She is a stubborn little thing when she wants to be!
But so am I
