Now were cooking! Please give me more and more. This is the best thread I've read in a long time. I can't wait to hear more from Robert and Martina. Robert do you agree with Martina's information?
I have a 4 month old male gsd who is all Czech lines . Line Breeding: Ciro z Pohranicni straze. He is 48.6lbs and its slim muscle, never had we a dog with so much energy, always wanting to be with you and please you, extremely easy to train, in fact so easy I keep having to tell myself to slow down he's just a baby! I was born in Czech republic and always remember the stories my grandfather told of their famous border patrol dogs. I must say so far I'm totally impressed, time will tell!
They are the best, I personally trained and titled my dog when I was 15 years old... the eseast going and trainable dogs.... but it breaks my heard when I see them neglected and left alone.... then, there could be an agression problem..You picked a good dog and Ciro z PS there is also Car z PS a Cigan/Gipsy I get them so confused was a good dog.. I dont believe he was the top dog, but very good when it comes to training....and results of pupies

I am not sure if I am allowed to even post this... wel they can always erase it
These are the Studs to get the line going on..Just a few of them, but none none of tham has any longer coat that i am used to. Well hope I could help. Bye the way... nice mix of germen and czech dogs, I dont thing there was any other influence but GSD since the beggining of last century. Not a single one.. or they are pretty careful about it
I will give you more informatin on trainability... I think everybody knows what ZM means.. well in Slovakia I witnessed a 10 year old train and pass this trail with a weird looking pudel-beagle mix-match mutt.. .. no kidding.. nobody should be running around and waiving with this test.. Anybody can do that.. my pup passed ZM 8 MOS old.. no biting so it is only basic obediance and track long as the road is wide. It sure is fun.. ZVV/SVV (the same thing) well I dont know what is happening and whed you guys title your dogs, my was titled as 14 mos old... SVV1, SVV2 came 8 mos later, I had to pospone it.. I had final exams in high school.. well and honestly Alec decided to take a bath while doing Aport-dumbell, I believe you call it. I never finished titeling him for ZVV3 his body became very worn out and we found out he ate some poison and he will never be the same.. healtwise. I am not going to write about my bitch.. I titled her only SVV1 you dont need anything more for breeding.
Well Iwould love to find out when do you usualy title your dogs, what age? What is the most popular trial here in US? do you have competitive IPO? and so on.. ZVV is work, but I dont think I can do it here without a helper from Slovakia..
Well just looking for information.. My goal is title my dog Shutz by age of 2 years old..
Schutzhund is the dominant dog sport in this country. The parent organization for the German Shepherd Dog is United Schutzhund Clubs of America. They follow the rules of Germany's SV for breeding, trials and working titles.
The US is also a "region" of Germany's DVG, following DVG rules for SchH / IPO, etc.
Thank You I will have to study the rules and maybe get a video to see how it is done.. I've never trained for schutz. Hope it is not too technical.. that would be trouble for me...
