Thanks for the info, Anne. I have checked out their site and there is a distributor in my area but hearing first-hand experience with it really eases my mind.
Okay. I had a phone consultation set up. I went back and looked at the vet's specialties and I had misread that they had nutrition specialties. I don't want to spend that much money if I can't get my questions answered. Will they be able to help me even if nutrition isn't their specialty? I looked at some of the vets in Cindy's list. These 2 caught my eye since they did phone consultations, but also didn't say they had nutritional specialties. I want to start back with raw, but for the life of me can't find anything to say if real raw food is O.K. for a dog that had HGE. My vet didn't think raw caused the HGE, but couldn't tell me how or if I could proceed. I also emailed Tom Lonsdale for giggles. I wonder if a big name like that will email me back with suggestions.

Click on that paw that says "phone consult," and see the fax part where you give them the background, etc., in advance. I'd ask the vet if he would help write that up and also phrase the question(s) if you want to try this route.
Also, I think I'd just email or phone the other ones who do phone consults and just ask if they have studied nutrition.
Thank you, Connie. I've looked so much for something to help me that I forgot to do the obvious and just ask the vets if they could help. Thank you and everyone for being patient with me. If I could think a little bit more I wouldn't have to bother ya'll with some of my questions. I promise I try, I just get caught up in one train of thought and never make it to alot of my options. God bless clear headed people!
Also, the ones listed in Cindy's thread and the one you just linked to are a lot cheaper than the one I found local.
