BTW, I sincerely hope that I am not sounding negative about your mission.
My daughter works some with Out of the Pits, and I'm 100% behind that rehab work.
Just want to be clear......

It sounds like you are being very responsible and trying to avoid any mishaps. The neighbors I'm sure appreciate it and it will only help you in the long run if something were to happen. I give you credit for trying.
Having lived next door to someone irresponsible with a dangerous dog makes me a little edgy on this subject.

Which dogs were having the midnight fight?
No, I don't think anyone here is out to be negative. Just concerned for the welfare of the animals and I appreciate everyone with that mindset.
the two who fought are two strays which I want to keep. My luck!
Tom, is the black pit with the scars. he fought this guy, Dexter, my biggest, oldest guy. both got here 40 and 50 days ago. Tom first. Dex is the alpha, and is happy ton play with the other rescue dogs when allowed, and so is Tom, but in a very different way. Dex seems secure and settled about his status. His only issue is his lightning fast two attacks on Tom. Toms issues are multiple. He growls at me, he plays yet growls when at play, he steals others toys and wants them to chase him, tail is always up and bushy, he is a jerk mostly. Yet before my hard correction after he bit me, He wasn't like this. He was a nice dog to me, yet again was always a jerk at play with other dogs.
My main reason for coming here was that my own assessment says that they will never tolerate one another. Tolerate, not get along. BUT I see that there is a camp in NY state where they swear that they can cure these issues. Then there is Cesar M. He took to crate rotated GCDs to his camp and his site claims they are not free to play together.. Just wondering what the Majority of pro's feel is the true possibility of them TOLERATING one another when I am home. I hate hearing one cry while crate rotated. Its hard on me, and don't want to have a home pet crate rotated. Either they work or one goes.

I am curious why are you not keeping Tom on his leash in the house? Aren't you supposed to do ground work with him first before he has earned his freedom to play with any toys or anything else? When you can't watch him you are supposed to crate him.
I am not interested in what the law said or what everyone else said. It depends on how you run things in your house and each dog you plan to bring into should be taught about rules first before introduce to anything else.

It can work fine, actually.

I do not have experience with the breeds you are working with,so take what I say with a grain of salt.
I would NOT have toys around with multiple dogs out. you have mentioned toys in a couple of posts. This is regardless of if you can take them away from them. This is just giving them someting to fight over. This is basic. A woman in my province who worked in Pit rescue had one of her dogs shot by police when two of the rescues that previously got along got in a fight over a toy and she got bit breaking it up.
Also remember that many dogs do not tolerate "jerky" behavior from other dogs. Even if it seems friendly.

Like the couch earlier in the thread.
But absolutely basic: No food, toys, or treats left out.

The only toys we have are kongs which are used IN CRATE when they are bored and start eating my crate pads.
All this is well taken, yet this is getting a bit off topic.
The two dogs that don't get along. Thoughts suggestions appreciated please.

My thoughts are to separate the dogs.

That was when he could go out into the pen with another dog. Also those " toys" where pieces of sticks or a planter they where chewing up and running around with. once the summer came, the yard was cleared and they no longer have wood to chew off.
