he knows sit, down, stand, high five, touch, spin, stay (sort of), Up, Off, back, and wait,
Well....well.....umm....uh.....welllllll.....My Bloodhound knows how to....umm....uh....OH YEAH....SUKE
Thats not my hound...god love the squishy faced muffin of a dog, a more patient and sweet creature would be hard to find, but dont expect much from him!!
the hound has taken lots and lots of work to learn basic manners and stuff like sit and back up,
I don't know but imagining a dog walking all over the place with a towel over it's head cracked me up. Good read. I'd like to know what other steps are involved?
Um ya, We wont mention the time that Loki got tangled up in a sheet and totally and utterly pancicked. could not get his head out, broke a lamp and a mirror in his wild flailing.
To this day if he is in the bed with me and I cover up more than halfway up his back he gets all wild eyed and jumpy.
I have an Anatolian Shepherd puppy. She is my second one, and I cannot imagine doing competitive obedience with this breed...any other Anatolian people here?
Thanks Alex. I bought that book as soon as it came out. Haven't read it for a while, but maybe I'll get it out again.
Angela, I believe his Cavalier Wizard is now deceased. I think he actually had a black standard poodle for a while.
Actually, if you did the towel test with my standard he would fail (he did because I did the tests with him). This is the same dog that taught himself (or learned) all the opening bars of music to dog food and those Advantage commercials.
