When he was about 6 months old he sniffed in my housemate's cat's box and in diving for him to pull him out I accidently knocked an entire desk, the contents of a dresser, and a potted plant on his head....I swear whenever he smells cat poop he looks around like he expects flying funiture to take him out XD
I can't say I've done much to discourage this reaction lol....he'll skirt around cat poop and avoids the litter box like it's going to jump up and eat him.....he'll step over and around dog poop but he doesn't walk in a big circle around it like he does the cat stuff....
That's brilliant!!!!!
Tomorrow, as soon as I get home from work, I am going to start throwing furnature at my litter box cleaning dogs!!! Thank you!!!
Ok, should I start small (ie: end table) or go for the big guns - (ie amoire or piano)?
I've been considering redecorating anyway........

Not to beat a dead horse (again), but I thought this website was worth looking at. I can see how ignorant people view these cute puppies with all the pretty colors and all the love they talk about as a reputable breeders. I hope they get shut down. This website sickens me.
Well, to side with you Katie - I can't tell you how many times working at the big ER vet, I've seen pups come in literally straight from the airport. They've been bought online, by well meaning owners, who now have shelled out big bucks for the dog, all the stuff needed for the dog, gotten super excited about it, only to pick up a VERY sick puppy off the plane... one who usually has maybe a 50/50 chance of living - at best, along with another large bill. I always feel so sorry for those people and the puppy, and so mad at the "breeder" who sold them.
The thing that makes my blood boil the most, are the huge pet stores that have signs on the cages that read "only $19.95/month!". They finance these "designer dogs" (read mutt), who often don't live past the time it takes to pay off the debt. Of course they know people want to "save" these dogs as well, they stick 10 of them together in a glass aquarium and they are all desperate to get out. Anyone thinking about getting a dog, and doesn't know any better, is going to have a hard time walking away.
And one of the saddest things I see so often is that people assume that those dogs are good quality because they cost more than the $300 dogs in the newspaper so they are planning on BREEDING them. Yeah, they are a good girl and they are friendly with people and I paid a lot of money for it, so I'm gonna be a dog breeder now. Don't know if that's just the mentality around where I live but I see alot of these dogs bred! Gag!
