And they're made in the US which makes the low pricing even more incredible.

Interesting with these though, it says:
"Any attempt by the user to repair or open the e-collar, including battery replacement, will void the warranty."
I wonder what happens down the road when the batteries have to be changed?
I hadn't read that but it's interesting considering that I swear I saw a video made by Jeff @ Leerburg giving instructions on how to change the batteries.... if that voids the warranty that video may not be a good idea....
I saw exactly the same video and the same thought went through my head, maybe Leerburg should add this to the video to let people know it will void their warranty?

Was going to take a picture and post the wording but found links to the manuals online. This is the one that came with mine. Very bottom of page 26.
Just wanted to Clarify a few things. We put the short video together on how to change the batteries because we often get asked if it is possible. However the batteries are covered for the first 2 years of under warranty making it unnecessary. So to answer your questions. Yes it is very easy to change the batteries however Einstein will do it under warranty for the first 2 years anyways.

Well, that works for the first two years. But, when I bought one I expected to use it for a much longer period of time. And, I think that I speak for others as well.

Good point. I will find out!
I think it might be that the free battery-replacement for two years is voided by do-it-yourself, but I understand what you're saying about do-it-yourself after that period.
Let me go back and double-check about do-it-yourself battery replacement AFTER the two years.
If you would like to replace your batteries after 2 years Einstein will sell the batteries and replace them for you. I am not sure on the price of the batteries yet. I'm waiting for Einstein to get back to me on that.
Other wise it is extremely easy to replace yourself. We only took the video down to avoid further confusion.
