We should hear anytime starting today about the pathology results. Now that has me in knots...I'm ready to know one way or the other so we can get a plan in action.

Even the vet was surprised and was very pleased to be able to share positive news with us. She had a blood filled tumor, probably caused by a trauma to her spleen. Not sure how it would have happened, but we are extremely relieved! She is continuing to recover very well and is so bored of being "kept quiet".

There are probably 99 malignant tumors for every 1 benign spleen mass in a 10 yr old dog. Seriously, a good outcome here is rare.
