I have to tell you that the company (Groomers) is incredibly responsive. I'm afraid the results so far (awaiting one more reply) are not what you want, but they are super at responding and checking for me.
So, I'll be moving on to checking straight e.p.o. (or other GLA oil) and how much (if any) to give with the fish oil and E.

You're very welcome; actually, this is a major area of interest for me, and I'm happy to be tracking down a possible addition to the EPA/DHA (fish oil) recommendations we always talk about on these allergy threads.
Also, every paper so far has reinforced what we always say here about fish oil, so that's good too.

I have just bought another bag of dog food and in the composition it says theres salmon oil also omega 3 supplement.The analytical constituents say omega 6 is 2.3 percent and omega 3 is 1.6 percent.I take it its in such small amounts of a 15 kilo bag that he needs the extra from the grizzly salmon oil.

There are a few threads here that explain why many folks here don't even count salmon oil included in kibble (I sure don't), but also, "Omega 3" supplement usually means plant-source (flax, canola, etc.) and dogs don't have the mechanism that some humans have (and which is inefficient and unreliable even in humans) to convert ALA from flax, etc., to the EPA and DHA that are the real reason for giving fish oil to dogs.

Yes, it will be good to give GLA along with the EPA and DHA in fish oil.
But you want real EPO (evening primrose oil). I looked at lots of products online, and I see that you might run into many additives. Here are the ones I would accept, but only with evening primrose plant oil in top position on the ingredient list: gelatin, glycerin, Vitamin E (or d-alpha tocopherol). (BTW, this will almost certainly be a very small amount of E, and nowhere near the amount you will want to give as PUFA-support/support when giving oil supplements {the fish oil and the EPO}. It's an antioxidant for the oil product.)
So far no one agrees on the ratio of GLA to EPA/DHA. I have to leave off for now and do a big chunk of work, but I wanted to at least tell you that yes, you can be shopping for fish oil and EPO, (and of course the Vitamin E).
If you find products and want to post links, I/we can assess ingredient lists. (It's hard from here to know what you have available there.)

I have ordered the grizzly salmon oil and vitamin e 400iu,d-alpha with mixed tocopherois.I have also ordered a portable shower and plan to bath him in his run or in the kennel.Its cold here just now but i can put a heater on to take the chill away.He is still on the pred 5mg once a day, after today its every second day.I will have a look online for the epo.
