Wow, that's some great info! Thank you Connie. Looks like I have some research to do.
Her vomiting has subsided so far. She's still having random soft stools. But, for the most part I think she has improved. Glad you mentioned drooling as a side effect of Flagyl, that was worrying me. It's not easy tricking her into taking that pill-it must be really nasty.
Thanks again for that resource, I plan to click on all the tabs and read the entire thing.
Also, I go to an osteopath who does soft tissue manipulation (OMT) and she said she treats dogs, too. May look into that as well....can't hurt.

Christy you might want to try the Greenie's Pill Pockets. You can get them in most local pet supply stores or order them from Amazon. They are basically treats that you stuff the pill in. I've used them with several different dogs, all of them loved them and took the pills (even big ones) with no problem.
For the dogs that are wise to the pill in the middle, you just break the pocket into two pieces. Put the pill in one and give it to the dog while you are waving the other piece right in front of their nose. They'll slurp the first one down so they can get to the second one.

You might want to scroll down to the whole physical and alternative therapy comments first, as well as the paragraph immediately above the physical therapy section.
