Just a random thought, Could he have vomited it or the pieces of it? Sending healing thoughts and prayers for the little guy.

Mary, I've been present since he swallowed the rope or had him isolated to the laundry room any time I wasn't present. I'm stumped.
We're home now. I agree with the doc. Can't fix it if it ain't broke. I'm more comfortable at this point doing nothing further. I want to get him fed and go from there.
I saw the X-rays, and they were of a healthy dogs digestive system. Doctor feels confident in the bariums rate of passage. Guess I do too!

I can't wait to see what this rope looks like.
(I mean one like it. Although you might as well link us to a photo of the actual Turbo-Snack when it appears ..... .)
Well, I'm really glad it seems to be causing no problems. With the vet feeling confident, so would I. And I know you'll see any lethargy or stoppage immediately even if it does happen.

Raw fed dogs (all dogs?) do have a lot of strong stomach acid. Ellie ate a quarter of a bath mat that never did turn up as recognizable in poop. I assume she converted it into more hair.
Glad it all sounds like a happy ending for Turbo.

Glad there seems to be no reason for surgery.

I feel with you. My Yorkie once swallowed a brass picture hook. I immediately grabbed the dog and put her into her carrier. My wife and I saw the hook disappearing in her throat, but once at the vet, it did not show on any of the 2 x-rays we took. It was not in the carrier, it was not in the room where it happened. It just disappeared. I still cannot believe it, but the hook was never found. All I had was the vet bill for nothing...

Inlaws weren't home, so I couldn't get a piece of the rope. Later.
I am bugging my wife to death questioning myself, but I still keep coming back to the fact that he's healthy. He's healthy. Take him to any vet in the world and ask them what's wrong with him without filling them in, and they won't find a thing.
Short of scoping or exploratory surgery, I can't think of anything else to do.
Just thinking out loud. Anything else y'all would do?
Been fed. Food is staying down. Wants to play and would eat ALL of the chicken breast I boiled up of he could open the fridge.

I'm holding out hope to one day see this rope again, but your post pretty well sums it up.

I would do what you are doing in this vet-approved situation.
I'm confident of my early-warning detection system, and of yours too. It's not like the dog lives in a separate kennel (which might indeed trigger an exploratory for my dog). He lives with you, with your family, and you know him very well. You'd know right away if something went wrong.

And thanks to everybody that posted or PM'd with thoughts or ideas.
Whether I followed the advice or not, I appreciate it all. That is why I posted. I knew I would be able to dot the I's and cross the T's with y'all's help.
Thanks again!
