When I am not training I am thinking about training and behavior or I am reading current behavior information and essays. Because I deal with the public daily on these issues much of my information fit for them is fit for the topics here. I develop my thoughts and write them down not only to use them but also to have a chance to review them and up-date my ideas
For a book?
Not at this time in my life. I am too busy training and I am not certain I would be happy about a book I wrote because my ideas about training have changed and evolved in certain areas over the years and I expect them to continue to develop.
When I think my input can help I post it and try to offer a glance into the reasons for my beliefs and qualify my lines of thought.
I think Deanna wrote this in another posting: The only thing two trainers can agree upon is what the 3rd guy is doing wrong. --- it is a quote I have used often in the past as well. It does point to a need for collective thought on dog training topics and I cannot think of a better way to dispense information and test ideas then in a dog forum that Ed has graciously provided.
