If a dog barks for prey because it is a learned behaviour to get his prey, can a dog show hackels and growling, ears pinned back and tail straight up and still be in Prey; of course as a learned behaviour??
Heheheheh - very few are advanced, most just think so!
Or do we keep getting in the same situation with the same people trying to make an argument by going completely off the subject and useing things that have nothing to do with the thread to jusify an argument?
Yes, if you teach the dog to bark as an obenience command it is no longer a prey bark. You could have used prey to teach it, but when you put it in use it is no longer for the same reason. DUH!!!!
Nobody ever said that prey is the ONLY reason that a dog barks, it was said that dogs can bark with a prey motivation. By changing the experience of the dog you will shange the motivation of the dog for barking and it will sound, and look, different. Again DUH!!!! That is why you see differnt types of performance. If you want a diferent performnce, change the history.
And Dennis, Some dogs will continue to bark while on the sleeve. Giants are good at that, it is funny to watch and can be done.
This is boring, since we can't stick to the topic...
