Noodle is doing great! Since he was a captured feral, it wasn't difficult to switch him from the "nibbles" (kibbles are for dogs), to raw. I do still give him Wellness canned (grainless) until I do a complete switch, but he is looking much better.

(Hope its O.K. that I asked about a cat on a dog forum.:eek
Well, as to that, Master Noodle walks on leash and harness side by side with Hambone (only in the yard of course), plays fetch, carries EVERYTHING in his mouth, is learning sit and down, AND, when Hambone does his growl-woof-snort because Noodle is rude or annoying, Noodle immediately plops to his side and shows his belly. I'd say Master Noodle is an honorary dog.
Hambone's urinalysis came back and was completely normal except he has concentrated urine. I am not worried and neither is the vet. She found no crystals, no infections, no sign of uric acid, and she sees no cause for concern since the blood work fir his kidneys proved normal. No need to avoid organs except to make sure to use only a very very small amount at first and make sure as organic as possible.
I am to bait water for him a period of time as he truly hasn't been drinking much and hasn't been peeing as often. Just a precaution she says.
I will post new pictures and an update of Hambone under a new topic a couple of months from now (with a link to this one).
I am still reading all the threads about raw feeding and continuing to learn. This has been a fascinating journey for both of my critters and for me. Thank you all for being generous with your knowledge and honesty. This site rocks!
