Ah ok! Oakland, that explains a lot. I did see you were in the Bay area lol.
Elias is doing great! Thanks! Growing very fast, trying hard to sit up now, and pushing off a lot with his legs. And Brandi is so gentle with him when we let them near each other. She totally submits to the lil 12lber (and counting).
Here's our new addition, Billy Vom Gipfel. We brought him home tonight. He's very confident and curious. Struts around full of himself and doesnt seem bothered by anything. He's been with kids since he was born and was introduced to all types of things. We're really looking forward to all the things we'll do with this boy. Here's his Pedigree http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/560871.html How about that, a working line German Shepherd! Protection & tracking, really well. Obedience wasn't as drivey as I wanted until recently. Now somethings clicked and he's showing me the flash I want. How's Havok doing?
I thought I was sent a pup from a different breeder he was so opposite of everything I expected. He was calm and mellow with very little drive for much, food or toys. GREAT temperament though and an easy pup; the kind you don't have to teach manners to.
Then overnight he woke up. Now he is psychotic and driven! This was about three weeks ago... He had his OB down, but like you described, little flash or presence, and bite work was ho-hum. Now he is really coming into his lines! I wish we had worked more in manners though. He makes strangers a little nervous with his very direct eye contact, like a Border Collie. He is a sweetie, but it is unnerving from a pup like him when you don't know what he is looking at you for.
I am excited to get to working with this new pup I have once we get back from Nationals in Vegas. Right now I am focusing on Quinn.
He is beautiful, with a nice male head. Right ear goes wonky once in a while, but corrects with a massage. His eyes are a little round and a tad light, but in all other ways he is very nice. He is as tall as Quinn!
