Teagan not only snapped at Luc earlier today (after yesterday), she just went after him. I got her and he's fine, but something is not right with her. I thought she was going to bite me too. I was wondering if I was making the right decision but now I feel like I am.
Oh Jenn; there is something definitely not right with her And she is letting you know loud and clear. You are making the right choice. In spite of how this will tear you up; you will give her the gift of peace. Personally, I don't think there is another option. You are in my thoughts.

I couldn't have said it better. You love Miss T and are doing right by her. She is telling you what you should do. You are not a failure and neither is she.
Hugs to you. It isn't easy to do what is needed. You have great courage and it will see you through this.
Jenn, I'm another one who thought about you all weekend. I can't say it any better than your friends have already, so I'll simply wish you the strength to get through this.

I get the idea that she's been doing just that for a long time now. Teagan is clearly in pain and her personality is changing for the worse. Jennifer needs to do what's right for every member of her family, including Teagan and her cats.
I know for me, and for others, my cats are very much a part of our family and just as important as my dogs in my life. I also know the Teagan's behavior is getting worse and is compounded with pain, bowel also and bladder control problems.
This is not a decision that is being taken lightly and certainly all steps have been taken to make this situation work.
