Here is a great website that sells boots too.
They have a lifting harness that you can do rock climbing with your dog with, I looks sort of like one on the handicapped dog site.
I have ordered stuff from them before, and I like the quality.
They have a nice selection of boots that might work for her.
Willie
Excellent Willie! Thanks a lot, I do like their selection of boots.
Now I just have to figure out which one would be the best for her.
I only need the one boot.
Willie,
We ordered a single boot this weekend from your source, so I wanted to thank you for that info. We also ordered something that will be really cool for the bathtub. It is a mat that keeps the dog from slipping when giving baths. It apparently lets the water go through, but also traps the hair to it.
I have just used a towel in the past, but this mat sure looks like a perfect solution for baths. (she has Atopy, so baths are a frequent thing for her.)
I also wanted to say that we have even more progress in Kaia's movements. She is using it partially now, every third hop, she will use the lame leg. She is getting around very well now.
Also, I have no idea how, but the last two mornings she has been getting up on the couch to sleep the night!!
Her activity is becoming more and more too, so we are very encouraged with these signs.
She also went to scratch herself with her lame foot, so that is another really positive sign!!
So, we are just awaiting our first PT session on Tuesday!
Thanks Leih, I am really very happy with how she seems to be coming along, all before the therapy starts tomorrow. I can't wipe the smile off my face for nothin!
Funny thing happened today though. I tried to take her out for a 5 minute walk and she got around the corner, and abruptly stopped and turned around to go back. She pulled me right back home.
So, we went inside. She's been getting some good exercise in our back yard so maybe she was just too tired??
I'll check back in tomorrow, and let you know how the physical therapy went.
This is great news!!!!!!!!!
How exciting!
I'm glad that the site helped you find what you were looking for!!!! That mat sounds really cool, I might have to look into one.
Keep us updated, I always check for news.

Amazing progress and even without any physical therapy. I would be smiling too. In fact, I am!! It sounds like she knows when she has had enough exercise ... that's a good thing. Mine never wants to stop no matter what. Good luck tomorrow.
