1)A solid working bred Hybrid-Type American BullDog. Unless I found a really nice Johnson-Type.
2)Doberman
3)Japanese bred Akita.
4)A GSD, or Mal.
But, if I could keep the list going, I would also add....
A nicely driven Chocolate, or Black Lab.
A Bull Mastiff.
A Rottweiler.
A Greyhound.
A nice compact well built Am-Staff.
I would have to live many life-times to own them all. =)

I do love a pug!
I would never buy one from a breeder, but have considered looking into rescue or fostering them.
I also would never in a million years encourage that more of these squished-face crowded-mouth breathing-problem (and on and on and on) be bred by my actually breeding or causing breeding of them. I can't picture much worse that humans have done to dogs' physical conformation than what they did to those guys. (My two are remarkably healthy, but as I've mentioned, I've known dozens of Pugs, and remarkable health is not really a hallmark.)
But yes, our training club did kinda fall into Pug rescue, so I've known my share of these happy little guys.
Well, except Leo there. He's what PPD folks call a "serious dog." You can see it in that stern gaze.
And you can see why he can swim -- check out those front paddles.
Labrador
GSD
Viszla or Weimerainer
German Shorthair Pointer
Obviously into the hunting breeds.. lol
Mine:
APBT
Rottie
Great Dane
GSD
would also adopt shelter mutts and help foster dogs that need help while waiting for a "forever home" (when we have more space and land, this will happen).
There are alot of other breeds I would love to own, but I only have so many years on this earth and only so much room for so many dogs at one time.... sad But I'll enjoy the ones I can have while I can!
If I had land in a dry place:
saluki,afghan -- for fun
italian greyhound -- for toastiness in bed (husband, I assume, would still be always at work in the hospital....)
a WELL BRED ACD WITH XRAYED ELBOWS AND HIPS!
a bench type big boned orange belton English Setter
I figure the sighthounds I can brush and need not much mental stim, the English Setter I can pet and love up, the ACD I can train, and the IG is ornamental....
I don't think I will ever own more than two dogs at once, but here is my wish list (would probably look to rescue first):
1. Doberman (own now)
2. Rottweiler
3. American Staffordshire Terrier
4. Bullmastiff
I also like the Cane Corso and Dogo Argentino, but I think they are beyond my skill level at the moment.
