I will have to think on that one... Don't think it would work here, it would in the states, but not here. I think I just need to work on the bark for now. My family keeps telling me what a nuisance she is when she is on the tie outside and how I need to make her be calm when people pass but I think I be better off not to because people are less likely to come over by her than. What do you think?

Eliza, It can be very dangerous for a dog to be tied up in a yard - it can put them at a distinct disadvantage if another dog or pack of dogs comes up. I might have misunderstood what you meant however, and in no way do I mean anything but offering a word of caution.

Holy cow! Totally missed that!
It's dangerous period, but when the dog is also being a "nuisance" outside, that dog is at risk ... and not just from loose dogs, to whom the tied dog is basically staked-out bait.
If the dog is fenced behind a fence that no other dog can possibly navigate, then the remaining dangers include humans and their tossing ability .... and more.
I hope you mean something much different.
I too mean nothing but a major cautionary word; maybe we are reading this
wrong ... ?

No, you are not reading this wrong... The fact is that it is the best I can do as we travel full time. However I am often outside around and also can hear anything that is going on from inside the camper(it is made of tarp). She comes in at night and also if there are other dogs that would be a threat. In this particular place there is only one small dog she gets along great with. There have been two strays in the time we have been here but I got rid of them rather quickly (even so she just wanted to play). I know there are dangers as far a dogs go but the only time I had a dog come and attack was when my dog(different one) was in an enclosure and a pit bull got in almost killing him if we would not have heard from inside and come to rescue him with a two by four over the pits head. Beside the point however...
As far a humans that is the most problematic. I meant a nuisance because she wants to play, be petted or just have you stand there next to her. So she with rap you up in her chain by going around you, she really seems to know what she is doing here! I have no problem with it but I work with her and she respects me to a degree that she won't with the others(kid, friend,or family).
But don't take me wrong, if I leave she is inside, if I am here she is in or out but I know as soon as anyone is out there with her. If I here someone out with her I am out there in a moment. It is kind of a pain but I don't want her to learn bad habits or be mistreated. I think sometimes I have sheltered her to much considering she won't bark and thinks everyone is here to pet her! Thank you both for your concern and it helps me keep sharp.
