I am SO in love!! She is such a doll! Garrett loves her too. She has been so well behaved Betty! She has only counter surfed once and she just wanted to rearrange the kicthen towels
She is a little upset to be in the crate, but understandably. I had both Danni and Conan sleep in their crates last night (which they both protested, lol). I've had one out at a time and they sniff each other through the crates only a little bit but are very focused on us. I'm thinking within a week or so we might be able to take them on a walk together - but no rush.
We played a good game of two ball this morning. She is such a blast. She had a lot of fun and even layed down on her own after a while! So we went back inside and she hung out while I got ready for work, then she ate and went back in the crate. I'll be home at lunch to let her out again.
And yep - pretty sure she's in heat! Though it's my first intact female so I'm not even sure! She was bleeding last night but didn't seem to be this morning. Oh the confusion! lol
I'm excited to have her. I think I'll try to bond with her for a week or so before taking her to the club. Let us work on our own focus and ob together and keep it playful and fun. I really want her to love me as much as I love her!!
I had an amazing time staying with Betty and Russ. They have a beautiful home and wonderful dogs. I'm so honored she offered Danni to me. Training was a blast and it went much better than I expected! If anyone has a chance to train with Betty, I highly recommend it. She and Rueben are great and the rest of the group is as well.
YEAH!!!! Really happy for you to have your new gal at home! What an exciting time for you both. Pictures and keep us updated. Best of luck to you both Katie!!

Wow Katie, how exciting. Sounds like all went well and glad to hear you're home. Now the fun begins!! How wonderful to get a dog that dreams are made of. Congratulations!!
