Sheila, that's what you get for doing AGILITY with your dog & not letting him do PP work. He's letting you know that he's not being allowed to develope up to his potential.
Test for your PP dog. go to a empty building/garage somewhere not familiar to the dog. have the helper w/ sleeve suit in a corner. build a wall around him of cardboard boxes. have a some friends stand around talking in another corner. walk the dog in with no aggression. talk a little to your friends. walk around the room by the cardboard wall. when near, the helper will shove the boxes over and come at the dog screaming. you will see if he will protect you....
Brain ,It could be? what is PSA? The next test a friend told me about A helper in a bite suit then wrapped in a plastic tarp. Some dogs have trouble with the plastic.
We always look for different ways to test our dogs, lots of fun.

Anne, you are a woman of great wisdom...the part of the agility story I left out was how the four other teams in the class quit. They were Thorrified (horrifide of Thor) I'm not quite sure if it was his impatience to run the course or ripping the tunnel from its moorings or perhaps getting to the top of the A frame and howling (and staying there and not coming down).....that was normal right?
The instructor suggested we might be more comfortable in a club environment...she invited me to her Schutzhund club....I never went because he is white and I thought that would have been held against him and I was a VERY novice handler and would have made him look bad......the instructor agreed his color might be frowned upon but there wasn't a Schutzhund handler she knew who wouldn't appreciate his drive.
