We are all in a STATE watching this!
You've got to let us know when you have him, how he is, what Ryuk thinks!
What a woman --- get an idea, GO FOR IT.
I absolutely love it, makes me feel young again just thinking about it.
Sending lots of postitive (pawsitive?) thoughts your way Jamie... Can't wait to to witness the "blossoming" of Gambit and really hope to eventually see some fantastic pics of both Ryuk and Gambit "locked and loaded..."
You go girl. Drink your coffee and pull off the road as needed. You are young girlfriend... you can do this.
Jamie has Gambit. We all had a great time here at my house and her dog got to meet Gambit on neutral ground outside of the house on the sidewalk.
I couldn't drive anywhere due to lacking funds to do so atm or I would of worked something out. Anyways my wife and I offered her a chance to stay the night because she has been on the road forever. She chose to drive to INDY to her friends house. I understand it but I'm a little worried and I hope she makes it safely.
Despite what everyone thinks we really loved Gambit and enjoyed our time with him. He is a very sweet boy and will always be in our hearts and minds. He will be missed!
She got here at 6 pm and She left here around 7:30. She was stopping at big R farm supply to get some of Gambits food. I gave her what I had left. Then she was heading toward INDY and stopping about an hour before that. I asked her to call me and give me an update no matter how late it was. I also told her if she has any problems with the car ect to just call and we will try our best to help out.
That's all I know so far sorry. Her other dog and Gambit looked like really good buddies when they met. I was so happy to see that!

OK, a little update: Thanks to the PayPal contributions, she is able to keep gas in the guzzling loaner and even stop to sleep tonight! One rescue connection from here is finding her (well, them! Jamie and two dogs!) a tax-free motel room, allowing for a sooner sleep-stop.
I was worried about the time PayPal takes to hit the bank acc't, but she has a PayPal debit card and the PayPal money has been going to immediate good use.
She is having trouble with answering PMs on the road, though, so it's great to send them but not to rely on a response for a day or two. But please do PM her for info on contacts via email when she is home safe and has a better connection.
PS
Nick followed through as promised.
Gambit is having a good time, she says, and is a sweet dog.
So this thread (at least under this title) is pretty much over, and in the best way possible!
