Hey Robert, my husband used a series of adapters to connect a garden hose to the hot/cold shut-off valve under our bathroom sink, so I am able to bathe my GSD in our tub (or outside) with warm water.
If you are interested, I can ask him to give you the details.

Hubby built this in 2009. He says if he is not mistaken, he used 3 adapters, one brass garden hose splitter, and two water supply lines. Length of the water hose is up to you.
We have two bathrooms in our house, we each use one. My bathroom in the master bedroom has two sinks, I only use one of them. So this "contraption" is a permanent part of the second sink. Hubby has to take the contraption off if I want to use the second sink.
The two little brass nobs allow me to adjust the water temperature.
Hubby says if you want to keep both your faucet/sink and the contraption functional, then you will need two more splitters, which he was too lazy to do at the time
