Most dogs with personality & certain behavior issues are not 'cured' by neutering or spaying & in some cases these negative behavors can be created or even exasperated by spay/neutering. Sometimes the answer is not always so easy as she I or shouldn't I. But for the average pet, it is the answer most of the time. I'm still in therapy over that incident
