Steve, for the record: all the ladies who post hear are beautiful, elegant, sophisticated, intelligent, witty, knowledgeable, kind hearted and above average in all respects. And several of them are armed

I just read this over the holidays and had to shake my head in disbelief.
Ed owns and controls the forum and pays for the bandwidth; If the OP was paying to participate she should have a say in its content (I, for one, am thankful that fluff gets culled and would like to see even more of it happen)
Why kick and scream about going somewhere else? Just quietly leave if it is not your cup of tea. There are plenty of forums for meaningless chatting about "furkids"

the only time i felt a thread was locked unfairly was the first one i started, asking for help managing my two dogs. ed apparently thought i was an idiot. he was probably right, but my feelings were hurt, and i think i could have learned from other's responses. anyway i stuck around, and have learned a lot, and have two well mannered dogs (for pets).
i really appreciate the fact that we post with our own names. the anonymous boards allow a lot of terrible sniping and outright rude behavior. this is a civil, knowledgeable and friendly group.

Interestingly enough, she is now over on the green board (gsdworld.net). Would anyone be surprised to see her first post about her collie is in the "critique my dog" section?
http://www.gsdworld.net/invboard/index.php?showtopic=15044
"Thanks : - } I had to think twice because I am on another forum also and get bashed A LOT for posting pictures of Chaos. #1, he's a long coat. #2 he's a show dog! and #3 I post a lot of pictures and I guess they don't like that!!! So I won't post many, just thought I'd put him up once, at least, lol. Thanks again."
That's a direct quote from the greenboard and I am floored. The only time people were critical of her was when she talked about breeding him because he was so beautiful & so what if he's a coat and wasn't titled - he is a UKC champ, so she can do as she wants!!!! That is until the other day when everyone was sick of her fishing for compliments.
