i fed him some wellness around noon, and his poo is still a lill runny but alot more solid then past poo. and he has been geting chicken before that. chicken leggs, hearts and gizzards and thies all with bone and skin and fat removed
The Wellness probably hasn't even been fully digested yet.
The chicken menu you gave still sounds like too much different food.
Do you have backs? If not, we can work with the thighs.
You did good removing the skin and fat, but one thing that sticks out and that could be a lot of the problem is that you removed the bone. Leave it in there. That is what is gonna harden up this stool.

BTW, from the info you have given, I don't think your puppy is going to have any problems handling raw.
Just a few small issues to iron out.
Mixing kibble and raw can also be setting the pup up for digestive upset. They digest at a much different rate.
Don't worry about that now, though. You'll get there.

Michael C...SLOW DOWN you're making me dizzy with all the diet changes, additions, and turnarounds, and your carpet and dog are suffering too.
Remember that the gizzards and hearts are a rich meat that can give your pup loose stool, and they also have no calcium which will cause loose stool.
If you take away the bone from the meat (Good catch Michael W) you will make the stool even looser. Add some kibble to the mix and it gets looser still.
Connie gave you some excellent advice for a fast (no food for 24 hours) and then the rice gruel. Then start feeding ONE THING (chicken), make sure it is low fat but WITH the bone. Feed ONE THING for at least a week (that's 7 whole days) before you add ONE more thing. If the stool is still loose take a look at how much bone you are feeding, too little will cause loose stool, too much will put a stopper in things.
A fast for one day will not hurt your dog and will help clean out his system. Feeding ONE THING will not bore your dog.
Cook yourself a 7 coarse meal if you feel the urge to start adding foods to a meal, let the dog adjust sloooowly to a raw diet.

That time line doesn't point to the Wellness as the poop-firmer.

This is all absolutely correct, and Michael C., what you are doing is not. SLOW DOWN! I don't know how to say it any louder.
Fast, then rice gruel, then one food, and NO ADDITIONS OR CHANGES until you have DAYS' worth of perfect poop. Small frequent meals, and no overfeeding.
And even if the real trigger is a parasite, what you are doing with the changes all over the place just inflames his troubled gut.
I understand that you want to fix it NOW. Stop. Take a breath. Fixing it starts with a gut that is taking a breather too.

"chicken leggs, hearts and gizzards and thies all with bone and skin and fat removed"
wasn't what we meant. We meant chicken pieces, not organs, skin and fat removed and bones left in.
(Kibble takes 9 to 18 hours to digest.)

I said to continue with the Wellness, but Connie and Debbie are right. There way will be a better route. Job 1 is calming his gut.
Then start feeding ONE THING (chicken), make sure it is low fat but WITH the bone. Feed ONE THING for at least a week (that's 7 whole days) before you add ONE more thing.
This cannot be emphazied enough right now.

Reading Michael W's question about the amount that was being fed made me have a bad thought after I logged off, and I am back to ask:
Michael C, were you feeding the amount of raw that you fed of kibble?
Diarrhea on raw has three common triggers: overfeeding, or too much fat for a beginner, or too much organ meat for a beginner. (This was posted before, but we didn't get amounts answered.)

im sorry i miss typed i have been leaving the bone in, i know he needs the bone for the calcium.
i can not find chicken backs where im from, so i have been going with the thies, they have a good meat to bone ration and honestly he gobbles them up,
i would give him about 3 thies with the skin and fat removed, i was also adding in a bit of the gizzards, and i also gave him some leggs all with skin removed, morning he would get the thies, lunch he would get the legg quarters, and dinner i would give him more chicken with a spoon of beggie glop.
i do believe i over did it with adding liver, and canned salmon.
he wil be fasting today, as i have to work and will be in his kennel most of the day, but when i get hom i will give him some of the rice mixed with ckicken broth as i was told.
his vet apt is tomorrow and i will bring a stool sample with me..
what i was actually going to do was get him back on the kibble until he is a few months older, then slowley ween him back into the raw diet.
i believe the wellness brand is actually a good balanced kibble
i just thought that would be a good idea.
but im going to listen and not feed him today, but i also need to get a stool sample tomorrow morning, so im not sure how that will work, his apt is at 8pm tomorrow night and if i dont feed him today will he still poo tomorrow morning
sorry im a lill stubborn, but im coming around
thank you all gain
