I got have my rabies vaccines. The 3 shots I got actually made me sick, the last one made me really sick. Wouldn't want to have to get 5 of them after the fact. Having said that, I have dealt with dead rabid animals, so I'm glad I got it done!
But yeah, holy crap to the rabid coyote! But at least there was a reason for it's behavior...

Agreed. There'd be a much bigger problem if the animal wasn't rabid. She'd be training her pups to lose their fear of humans as well. Given coyote's intelligence and ability to survive and reproduce in suburban and urban areas that would be very scary.
