That's too funny Kelly. I have to admit it did cause a moment of contemplation, hence my question. I saw the little line but there was no way I was going to be able to separate it without a tool. I thought there might be trick with some sort of pressure but figured a knife was my best option.
Just love the scissor tips. If he's not around and this comes up again, that's certainly where I'm headed.
Or I may just get one of those pill cutters. How cool is that. Thanks for posting that Wendy. And trust me, I got the love big time, not to mention I didn't feel as blonde as I thought I may have been beaming.
As far as anger and swearing, well, let’s just say that was the furthest thing on my mind as I watched him carefully snap these little pills for our ailing companion. It was a good night.
Thanks for the support guys, it means the world. He got his second pill this morning and I'm going to give it another hour or so to warm up just a little more and take him for a little walk, see how things are looking.

This info is for pills without a dividing line:
I read a study that came up with the pill-cutter as being the worst for even division, scissors second worse, and thin knife least bad.
For me, though, the scissors are so much more workable that I ignored the 19% versus 17% scissors versus knife (I believe it was, for the percent "off" the divisions averages) .
With the little division line, of course, these variations don't apply.
I will try to find that again, just for general info.

I don't want to jinx anything so just a quick post to let folks know that I feel there a bit of improvement.
The floppy foot flipped back just a little quicker and he had a little run today. A bit of bunny hopping, but it was running none the less. And he just looked happy.
I've been following this thread with interest and concern. Hearing that there has been some improvement is great news! I'm wishing you guys good luck and continued improvement!
He's a little restless tonight, that's why I'm up 3:30 in the morning. Seems like a good sign to me though.
Don't know if the drugs could be bothering him but I think he just really wants to play with his ball. He was nosing the toy bin. We got bundled up and went for a walk around the property and he settled nicely.
His legs seem to be spreading a bit more too. They're still appearing weak, quite wobbly but they're spreading back out a bit. Not so close together all the time. I think it's another good sign.
