How wonderful, Niomi, that you found so good homes for your puppies. I'm really very touched about this. Now you can seen that all your work made a great sense. I'm of course especially pleased that "my" sweetheart is in so good hands and that he will bring a huge joy to that poor father and his boy. Very sad and at the same time happy story. Full of hope. I'm sure Zombie Slayer will bring a big change to their lifes.
And: it's a shame! Watermelon and red wine!!!!!!!!!!!!!? If I'd do this the consequence would be a very long and uncomfortable rest on the WC

I've already heard back from Zombie Slayer's (now Helmuth) new home and they absolutely adore him. He is being regularly trained by the 7 year old boy (and dad too of course) and they are doing amazing together!
Another of my "weird" dinners that week - cereal (Special K Vanilla Almond) with Chocolate Milk (we apparently ran out of regular milk) and a Pepsi.... It was so ridiculous. But I was SOOOOOO tired and my husband was out of town, so that was all I could muster for a meal. Even Kraft Dinner or a Hot Dog seemed like too much work. So it was me, my 11 year old son, 7 adult dogs (3 who are working Shepherds), 9 puppies and 2 cats. Needless to say, he owed me BIG TIME when he got home hahaha!
You're too funny, Niomi! Very strange meals! Watch your health! And yes: your husband owed you some time If he didn't or doesn't just let him starve a bit.
Helmuth seems to have hit the jackpot with his new home and father and son obviously too with him. A perfect match. Marvelous!
