I have a Czech import GSD and have gone over the bite traingin videos with Berhard Flinks and also First Steps of Defense and Bark N Hold for Police Service dogs I am sure I need much more review time for the above DVD's however I still have a few of questions.
Goals: Family Protection "Not Just a Bark at the Door"
During the DVD Bark N Hold I notice that the Helper Continues to move the whip back and forth while approaching the dog. Is this not Counter productive it seems to me that the dog is put into avoidence and that this will stay with the dog for a long time.
Also
When I go through the exercises, I notice that my Dog goes for the stick or whip (When Brought out) Insted of being focused on the Bite sleeve. I believe this is being locked in Prey. How do i get Out?
Finally
How much can one do with himself(handler) and friend(helper)
