Ok, weird place to live apparently. Title does post a funny picture, but a dog bite is a dog bite, but I'm sure nothing will be done to the owner unfortunately since it's such a little dog. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" />
Yeah, it's kind of funny, but we all know what would happen if it was a big dog, even though the dogs were in their own doorway. I have a chihuahua, and I know he would do the same thing in that situation, as I recently had to restrain him during a traffic stop, and he defended me ferociously once when I was attacked in my home by a drunken ex. They can be extremely protective. What's unfortunate is that people don't take them seriously enough to train and CONTROL them. Many chihuahuas are horrible tempered glorified rats that are allowed to behave abominably because of their size. Thank God it wasn't pitbulls this time, or a GSD; we don't need any more bad press.
I've got a paillion (epaigneul nain continental- chihuahua like dog) and a malinois and have found out that i train the mal and the papillion trains us. It is verry difficult to train such a little guy they are extremely intelligent, cute and devious at the same time. With the big guy ,i can impose strickt rules but the little one, If she can't get something from me she goes to someone else and gets it there
