Last year I posted about a bitch that was having trouble being bred. She would not stand when the male was interested and when she was ready, the male did not agree! I thought some others might like to know the outcome; thanks to those who pm'd with suggestions, too. We did daily blood tests when she was in heat and found that her progesterone and estrogen levels were not coinciding so her body was getting conflicting messages. We bred her AI when her progesterone levels were right and Voila! puppies at last. So this is something to consider if you are having similar problems.
