Will, and other trainers,
On this thread there are several opinions offerred by experienced people, slightly different. I now walk my 75 pound aggressive GSD/chow dog with both a prong (large) and a dominant dog collar (on a separate lead). She is a hard dog, but I never need a hard correction for basic obedience anymore. She tests me in little ways all the time, but responds to a verbal correction unless she is very agitated by a near-by dog. Most dogs she can ignor. She still gets wild when she sees certain dogs, but I am mostly using the dominat dog collar in those situations. Does it sound like I should stay with what I have, or use a smaller prong (small or micro?)
