We have one young male currently in training, but are looking for a young female for SAR training. Depending on the dog's temperament, etc. will determine what type of SAR. Our male is male dog aggressive - hence the need for a female. Here are the stats/preferences for the dog:
Female
German Shepherd Dog
AKC (prefer for competitions associated with AKC)
Working Line - Czech/DDR preferred though not necessary
Good-high drive
At least six months old
Will not be a kenneled dog
UTD on shots, etc.
Prefer a dog from a currently actively working background: SAR, K9, etc.
Located in Southeast U.S.
Cannot pay an arm and a leg, but willing to sign an agreement that states the dog WILL be trained and used for Search and Rescue, and if, for some reason, the dog is unable or unfit for SAR work, will be returned to the breeder unless specified by the breeder
