This is terrible. Our dogs depend on us, and people who refuse to care for their animals simply shouldn't own them.
"...Burd said. The state looks at sanitation, the condition of the dogs, and whether there are sound and safe structures for the dogs to stay in, he said. Pet Care Associates owners Dominick Donovan and Jennifer Barisano are each receiving five citations for violating these regulations."
"Two of the citations are for failure to obtain the necessary kennel licenses, one is for failure to clean and sanitize daily, and one is for failure to maintain adequate drainage in the dog quarters, Tupper said."
"The fifth is for failure to provide veterinary care, which was ordered to be given to 24 dogs in the kennel within 24 hours. Tupper said the citation stated no proof of veterinary care was given, and 12 dogs died."
Lee, your posting is lot less informative than it is vindictive.
I see the row that you and your follower's have with Donavan on various forum's, but you're doing this to just stir crap across the internet on a personal grudge.
Keep your BS fights elsewhere, and I've contacted ADMIN about this already - hopefully this will be dleted.
How is letting people know the truth about these breeders a "vindictive" thing? The Department of Ag isn't a media group that tries to attack ligitmate facilities and kennel operations. The names and conditions were not names or conditions I created. These were factual events were they not?
And these events are so factual that you feel the need to post them *everywhere*? Especially with someone that you have a persoanal problem with and are fighting across the internet with??
That's not informative, that's a grudge. Do your fighting elsewhere and don't bring your personal battles here and hide behide your "concern" to further your agenda.
In all seriousness. What kind of "agenda" is there in telling people to be careful of those that don't take care of their dogs that depend on them? Five citations were given by the Department of Agriculture which INCLUDED citations for no license, failure to clean, and failure to provide vet care. Surely you don't suggest these things as acceptable! Surely, you don't think people should overlook these things.
I am not advertising anything in my post. What could possibly be my agenda outside of suggesting people look at the types of breeders they are dealing with to consider them carefully?
Anyone that loved dogs would provide clean facilities and vet care when needed don't you think? Breeders need to accept this responsiblity don't you think? If a breeder fails to do so to such an extreme that they actually recieve citations for violating these basic responsiblities I personally think the public should be warned to stay clear of them in hopes of finding a more responsible breeder and boarding kennel.
Your agenda is the *personal* problem that you have with Donovan on multiple dog forums ( Donovan's, the Chicago Land board, etc, etc ) , many of which you and you crew get banned on a regular basis from.
I don't post on any of those forum but I view them, and your behavior is there for everyone to see.
Tell you what, I'll answer your quetion with a question - on how many forums have you and your crew posted these links already? Ten? Fifteen?
I don't know Donovan, I've never met him. I have no reason for defending him ( he'd probably not like me as I'm Ed's friend, but who knows ) but you're doing this out of personal malice and hiding behind a "do gooder's" screen to do so. That's sleezy and unethical - be a man and just be honest for a change and tell people why you're doing the posting, you'll look less hypocritical.
Lee, kicking a person when they're down is a most disgraceful thing to do. If you had any class you wouldn't be carrying on this way. Have you no compassion? Are you not aware of Parvo and the speed in which it spreads? This could happen to you, and after you took this story and posted it everwhere it wouldn't surprise me to hear your kennel come down with it. It's called Karma... Very unchristian like Lee and I'm no bible thumper.
Let me put this into perspective for you since you refuse to be objective because you're letting your hate effect your reasoning:
Vet takes puppy in with Parvo, for some unknown reason she gives the pup free run of the place, she's reprimanded for improper containment. Other dogs in the kennel come down with parvo because of her sloppiness. Vet is fired, boarding facility is closed. Employee's are let go because there's no longer revenue coming in to pay them. Vet gets mad and probably calls the Dept of Agriculture to get back at them. Dept. of Ag comes and finds kennel in less than pristine conditions because there's only TWO PEOPLE TO TAKE CARE OF THINGS. This is a small town in the country, of course the hick newspaper is going to make a huge sensation out of this. There's not much else to report! Being a country dweller yourself you should realize this.
Gosh Lee, someone loses their lifes work, their home and business hang on the balance and THIS is what you do? Unbelievable.
