...this is no big panic question,but i'm curious about kennels and lines of a dog my family had when i was a kid,and wondering if anyone here knows about them... our first GSD,bought as an 8 month old in 1969,was from a Southern California kennel named Spregor Kennels. we were told that her 'parents were German imports',but i do remember seeing the name Yoncalla's Mike in her pedigree,who i believe was from a kennel in Oregon?
does anyone here know about these two kennels,and what the dogs were like from them. i'm sure they were more than likely American show lines,with maybe German show lines,at best. i honestly can't remember what the dog looked like-i have gaps in my memories from that time-but i do remember that she was taller than Anja,and much lighter coloured,though with a black saddle.
