Hello, my name is Missy and I am 16 almost 17 years old. I own 2 German Shepherds, a poodle, and 3 cats that I show and do agility with. Yes I'm young but don't judge me by my age. I am not like most teenagers. Actually, I'm so awkward, I don't even want to drive. I love my animals very much. They are my life. I don't believe in dating until I'm atleast 20. I am in 4-H dogs, agility, obedience, herding, trying flyball, and Schutzhund. Cody last year in October past the BH and I'm going to trial him in September for SchH OB1. Isa is about 7 months and very people friendly. She loves anything. She really loves tracking and I mean tracking. I set dime sized hot dogs in every foot print and she refused to eat them until she finished the track.
That is quiet impressive. I wish I could participate in those types of sports but my mom makes it nearly impossible. Thats why I can't wait to get my lincense so that I can drive myself to seminars and training and clubs and stuff.
How did you get into Schutzhund at such a young age? Aren't there safety issues invovled. I would love to participate in this sport but I always thought I couldn't because of my age.
