I'm comparing the way people then to draw battle lines on one side or the other, without really reading/listening to the otherside and very little middle ground on the issue .
When you have a pack or 10 beagles or hounds, it's cheaper to spend .30 a month per dog than $15-20 per dog. The active ingredient ,ivermectin, is the same. So if it's safe in the pill form, why wouldn't the same dose be safe in the liquid form?
Hello,
Feed him Raw Garlic and see the magic.
Well I can only tell from my experience. I give him minced garlic 3 times a weeks....this has has done the magic.
Some even say to rub garlic on the fingers and run the fingers thru Dog fur. I have never tried this method.
Wow, didn't mean to get everyone in a tizzy! I've used ivermec for almost 4 yrs now, I'll continue to use it. People have to decide for themselves. Heck my vet knows I use it and at what doses. A vet I had years ago when living in another town told me what doses to use. She even used it for her own dogs. To each their own.
My vet is pushing "Revolution". I googled it, It's supposed to be for just about everything, but I sure would like to know if anyone else knows about it, pros & cons.
My vet told me that the diff between any other flee medication and Revolution is the price. It is not better than any other product jut more expensive. God I love my Vet. I guess for most part. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif" alt="" />
You are correct. Too much is bad but I give him 3 small slices once a week. Not every week. Perhaps 6 times in a month.
What would you call "too much"?
