Hi, I have recently bought a new male puppy into my home. I allready have an older male dog which has allways been leery and aggressive towards other dogs since he was attacked as a puppy. I have had the pup for about 4 days but my older dog doesnt seem to like him very much. My older dog is fine with the puppy as long as he is left alone and the puppy doesn't try and play with him and generally just leaves him alone. however being a young pup (3 months) he is very playfull and energetic and often tries to sniff and play with my older dog. My older dog does not attack the puppy but becomes very aggressive and starts growling and barking at him and I have to seperate them both. I know its alot to expect from my older dog at such short notice but I am really unsure how I can train them both so they get on and I can live in peace.
I would really appreciate any help you can give me to help deal with my problem.
