Gail Nichols Webboard User Reg: 01-01-2006 Posts: 89 Loc: Midwest Offline	Ok,so this is not a police matter,but it is another application of this type of training..<g> i have a number of folk in my service dog group who would like to train their dogs to alert to allergens,such as gluten, and it seems to me that applying the principals of narc training would be a good place to start. does anyone have suggestions on good reading on this, training ideas or anything? this is very much out of my league,but something i can see possiblities in as a service dog task. There are detection threads out the wazzoo here and all you have to do is stay in this section and read some of the archives. Good stuff, and info on how to do it right.
