Martin Espericueta Webboard User Reg: 02-07-2006 Posts: 109 Loc: Central Valley, CA, USA Offline	Hello All, I've posted once or twice here, but I wanted to formally introduce myself and Sable. http://german-shepherd-dogs.fiercestreetnetworks.com/images/sable-i.jpg Sable is 9 weeks in this photo (I'm a little older ,~) And here she is 13 weeks, doing basic sitz/platz/bleib with me in the front yard. http://german-shepherd-dogs.fiercestreetnetworks.com/images/sable-side-800x600.jpg So, does she look like a Leerburg pup? That way, when she signals me to use the "pottie", I just loop it around her neck, and away we go. I don't correct with it in her basic training - yet. And I won't, as I will be getting the pronge collar for corrections. Does that sound smart? And yes, she has grown so fast! God Bless, Martin Schatzie!

That was before I began teathering her to my belt. I read (here?) that teathering your pup will allow for a closer bonding, and since I've been doing it - with the recommendation that Ed makes as well, regarding who in the house gets to pet/feed/treat/train being ONLY me for at least two weeks, Sable has really bonded quite nicely. ME TOO!!! I take her out to pickup/drop off my kids, as well as take her with me (in her crate) to my church, where I volenteer a lot of time. God Bless, Martin Schatzie!
