I am looking for a crate that is basically the same dimensions as what Ed offers on this site - only I need it to open on the side instead of the end. http://www.leerburg.com/771.htm
42" 24" x 32" (or taller would be fine)
I would really prefer wire over aluminum since my dog has no interest in escaping it and wire theoretically is much cheaper.
Any ideas? We are looking to fit this in the cargo area of a honda element - but without taking out the seats...
Thanks!

Hi Shannon,
You should look up midwest crates - they have side opening crates that will likely accomodate what you need. Some fo them have both a front and side door in fact.
FWIW - I have an Element as well and I put in a furrari 450 sideways to transport most dogs and am able to kep the back seats in.
Hope this helps,
Nick
At least 2 GSD size if you take the seats out. Maybe 3 if you were creative. I don't want to take any of the seats out - which means I have 24" inches in width, about 42 length in the trunk space.
